Plan posts for an event

Tell us the day of your event, and we plan posts that lead up to it.

Read the steps
  1. Plan posts for an event on Home, in Create posts.
  2. Write what the event is, when it starts, and where it is.
  3. Tap Add a date.
  4. For one event, keep One day.
  5. Pick the day of your event. We plan the posts around that day.
  6. If you know the start time, add it.
  7. Tap Create posts. In two to three minutes, your posts are in Approvals.
  8. In Approvals, each page has a post for now, a week before, the day before, and the morning of the event.
  9. Read each post, then tap Approve. Each post goes out on its own day, never early.

Good to know

  • A post for a week before goes out only if the event is 10 or more days away. A post for the day before goes out only if it is 2 or more days away.
  • Your number of posts on each page sets how many we write. With fewer posts, we drop the week-before post first, then the day-before post.
  • If you do not approve a post before its day, it does not go out. It never goes out late.
  • If you pick a day that is already past, we write posts about it as a recap, with no countdown.

Not working?

The posts do not say the right time.

Add the start time under Add a date. The time in the date box wins over the time in your text.

You see only one post on each page.

Check How many. One post on each page leaves room for the morning-of post only.
