Why a post is on hold
A post marked Check first waits for you. Read the reason, then decide.
We check each post before it can go out. If a post can break the posting rules, we mark it Check first in the list in Approvals.
That post shows a note: Check this before you approve. The note gives the reason. The post goes out only if you approve it. We never approve it for you.
- Open Approvals and tap the post marked Check first.
- Read the note above the post. It gives the reason.
- If you want to keep the post, change the words and tap Save. We check the new words.
- If the post is fine, tap Approve.
- If you do not want the post, tap Do not post this.
Good to know
- You and your helpers can approve a post that is marked Check first. You take the responsibility for what you post.
- There is no Ask for a review button. You decide.
- The one-tap Approve link in our email does not work for these posts. You approve them on the site.
- If a change breaks our rules, we save your words but the post will not go out.
Not working?
You change the words and the post is still marked Check first.
Read the new reason in the note. Change the words again, or approve the post.
