Help / Creating posts
Paste a plan you made
Paste posts you planned elsewhere, and we post your exact words.
Read the steps
- If you made a plan in another tool, paste it in Create posts on Home.
- Start each post with a heading, like Post 1, Day 2 or Monday.
- We post your words as you wrote them. We take off the headings.
- If a heading names a day, the post goes out that day. If not, posts go out one a day from tomorrow.
- If a heading names a page, such as Facebook, that post goes to that page only.
- Tap Create posts. The How many setting does not apply to a plan.
- Check each post in Approvals, then tap Approve.
Good to know
- We treat your text as a plan if it has two or more headed posts. A heading is Post 1, Day 2, a weekday, a date or a page name such as Facebook:.
- If we cannot cut your plan into your exact words, we write new posts about it instead.
- If a heading names no page, the post goes to every page you turned on under Post to.
- A plan counts against your 400 posts each month. Each post on each page counts.
- If the plan does not fit in the posts you have left, we write no posts and we email you.
- We make no reminder or last-call posts from a plan.
- For an Instagram post with no photo, we make a picture. Without the AI pictures add-on, it is a plain card with the post's words.
- You still approve every post.
Not working?
You get new posts that do not match your plan.
Check that each post starts on its own line with a heading, such as Post 1, Monday or Facebook:. Then paste the plan again.
You get an email that says "You reached this month's post limit".
Send your plan again next month. If you need more posts, write to us.
